How often do you accept new clients?

The Nutrition Ninja Academy only accepts a limited number of clients at one time. This is to ensure that I am able to provide the best support and service to my clients.

Because of that, places will fill up fast. That’s why, if you are interested in joining the Academy, I encourage you to fill out the short questionnaire here to register your interest and get you in line for the next available place.

Why Nutrition Coaching? Can't I just pick up a diet book, read some online articles or social media for free?

If you take an honest look at your life—and at the lives of the people you most respect and admire—you’ll notice something interesting. As human beings, we are rarely ever transformed by reading more books and articles, from watching a diet documentary or following social media accounts.

Instead, most transformative change, like permanent weight loss, happens through a real relationship with another human being, usually a coach or a mentor.

Sure, you can try another diet book or read a few more articles, especially if you love thinking about exercise and nutrition. If you get great results with those tools, I applaud you.

But if you’re having trouble putting what you know into action, and making a permanent change, the Nutrition Ninja Academy can help you.

I like to... (Crossfit, run, bike, swim, ski, do group exercise classes, walk my dog, etc). Can I still do the stuff I love while getting coaching?

Of course. Keep doing what you love. That’s my philosophy, to learn how to eat and exercise in a way that works for you. Health and fitness should be fun, freeing and sustainable. It’s about helping you live a fuller life. So yes, if anything, the program will help you do more of the things you love.

Once you get started, I will work with you to structure things in a way that works best for you and your lifestyle.

I already have a personal trainer. Can I keep that up while getting nutrition coaching with you?

Yes, if you have the time and want to continue with both, that will work. In fact, I have actually worked with a number of Personal Trainers to help their clients accelerate their weight loss results and I think with my coaching and your in-person trainer, you’ll be unstoppable!

Once you get started, just let me know that you’re working with a local trainer and we’ll make sure to integrate and balance the two.

I have a few injuries. Should I wait before starting the program?

No, there is no need to wait, in fact, it could help speed up your recovery.

We all go through injuries, so I understand where you’re coming from. In fact, I have experienced this myself. This is often the time where your nutrition becomes even more important for your weight loss and is an important factor to enhance your recovery.

I follow a special diet (plant-based, vegan, Keto, intermittent fasting). Will you still work with me?

Yep, I’d love to work with you. My life-proof weight loss system that I will guide you through is easily customizable to your food preferences. All you have to do is let me know what your dietary preferences/restrictions are before you start the program and we’ll make it easy from there.

I'm a beginner with a lot of weight to lose. Will this work for me?

Yes. This system is simple and works at your level. I’ve worked with lots of people just starting their weight loss journey and who are new to exercise and healthy eating habits.

Remember, we were all beginners at some point and my weight loss system is guaranteed to set you up for success no matter where you are starting. This program is designed to make sure both beginners and more experienced clients work at a pace that’s comfortable for them. I’ve helped clients in all shapes and sizes, all ages, and that come from all different backgrounds.

The Nutrition Ninja Academy is not for figure or fitness models, professional bodybuilders, or high-level athletes training for a particular sport.

It’s also not for people who already have all the accountability they need. If you rarely struggle with staying consistent with your eating habits, then we’re not a good choice for you.

I'm NOT a beginner. Will the Nutrition Ninja Academy work for me?

This program can even help those with years of experience with consistent training and healthy eating. That’s because the interactions you have with a coach are tailored to your needs and goals, as I mentioned it’s not a “one size fits all” program.

Oftentimes, people with a lot of experience enjoy handing the reins over for a while. I can take care of the nutrition while you do the exercise programming and focus on improving other parts of their lives. I’ve even helped other personal trainers and coaches make healthy changes and get back in shape.

What if I don't have much weight to lose but just want to eat better?

It’s great that you don’t have a lot of weight to lose. It means you’re starting out with a big advantage. Of course, lifelong fitness and health are more than losing weight. With the Nutrition Ninja Academy, you’ll learn how to maintain a healthy (and lean) body for life.

You’ll discover how it feels to be more confident, and stronger inside, and out. Plus you’ll develop a new, healthier relationship to food and eating. And that’s something fewer than 5 percent of people know how to do.

How long does the program run for?

The Nutrition Ninja Academy is for a minimum of 12 weeks. Based on my experience, I’ve found this to be the minimum amount of time and commitment needed for building the habits and skills necessary for lifelong health and fitness. On completion of the 12 weeks, there will be the option to continue your coaching journey and learn even more lifelong eating habits and advance your Nutrition Ninja skills.

Will the Nutrition Ninja Academy work for me?

If you follow the recommendations in this program and stick with it for the full 12-weeks then yes, you will get results.

Your Nutrition Coach

Who are you and what makes you qualified to coach?

I’m Paul Walker, BSc (Hons.), founder of Perth Nutrition Coach and Paul Walker Health.

I have a passion for helping people improve their lives, one small step at a time. My philosophy is that no healthy change is too small and that improving health and fitness should be something that’s achievable and attainable for every type of person. It should also be realistic, there is no ‘one size fits all’ and should suit each individual lifestyle.

My Real-life approach to Nutrition stems from my own lifestyle and love of food. I believe you should be able to enjoy the food you love and still be healthy, it’s all about balance.

Do you give me a meal plan?

No, I don’t give out meal plans.

Meal plans and diets aren’t really that useful or sustainable. People often feel like they’re either “on” them or “off” them. They feel like they’ve failed and are beyond help if they’re not eating perfectly at every meal.

My approach is completely different: I help you build a set of sustainable habits that will serve you for the rest of your life. This means you get to choose (with my guidance) which foods are best for you, when to eat those foods, and how much to eat of them.

Why are you different from any other coach?

I don’t believe that one size fits all or that there should be only one solution to every individual problem. This means I won’t try to give everyone the same meal plan, diet or set of rules and make you fit your lifestyle around it. Instead, I will teach you skills and give you the knowledge that you can apply yourself to suit your lifestyle, for the rest of your life. Change is always hard but I will be there when it matters to support and guide you to create lasting change and build new habits. In my experience of working with and helping people, and also in the decades of research on coaching, this system also has the best potential for long-term success.
