What I Like

I have a passion for helping people improve their lives, one small step at a time. My philosophy is that no healthy change is too small and that improving health and fitness should be something that’s achievable and attainable for every type of person. It should also be realistic, there is no ‘one size fits all’ and should suit each individual lifestyle.

My Real-life approach to Nutrition stems from my own lifestyle and love of food. I believe you should be able to enjoy the food you love and still be healthy, it’s all about balance. In the Nutrition Ninja Academy, I’ll coach you and work with you personally to help improve your health and to look and feel more confident in your body.  I’ll also teach you the skills and habits needed to become a Nutrition Ninja for life.

I Love to Learn

Since I graduated in the UK with a BSc (Hons) degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition, learning and knowledge about health, fitness and coaching have become a passion. Over the past 11+ years, I have since gone on to obtain numerous qualifications in fitness and nutrition including a Diploma and becoming a certified Precision Nutrition (a world leader in Nutrition Coaching) coach.

Coach

I have been lucky enough to coach people from all walks of life, all around the world. As well as Nutrition Coaching, I have also coached people in exercise, specialising in rehabilitation, injury prevention and postural imbalances. However, as I have progressed in my coaching career, I’ve realised my true passion for coaching nutrition and behaviour change. This became evident as I began to understand the true importance of creating long-term change and a balanced lifestyle.

Lecturer/Mentor

I have also lectured and facilitated a number of fitness education certifications including Cert IV (Personal Trainer) and Diploma of Fitness courses. During these courses, I was able to further progress my coaching skills as I mentored and educated the next generation of Health and Fitness Professionals.

I Love to Eat

I love to eat, try new food and recipes, and dining out at the latest restaurant. Growing up I was pretty unadventurous with my food and meals, but the more I have learnt about food and the more I have travelled, food has become a huge part of my life. Since moving to Perth and experiencing the ever-growing dining out culture, enjoying food and different cuisines has become part of my lifestyle. My goal is to help others with the same passion for food to embrace it and create a balanced relationship between food and health.

Other Interests/Hobbies

In addition to all things health and food, I also enjoy watching and playing all sports (Soccer is my no.1), watching movies (I love superheroes and something with a scare or twist) and listening to music (all genres – it’s the soundtrack to life). I also have an innate passion for traveling and seeing the world, experiencing new cultures and meeting new people.
